Gen X Aviation
Charter flying with a little more purpose.
Gen X Aviation is the virtual aviation identity I use for charter operations through JetCard, adding another operational layer to flights in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
JetCard generates charter trips and provides a framework for building a virtual aviation operation. It gives me a destination, passengers and a reason for the flight beyond simply choosing somewhere to go.

Generate the Trip
JetCard provides charter opportunities that create a reason to fly — connecting passengers, aircraft and destinations.

Plan & Fly
The charter becomes a flight in Microsoft Flight Simulator, using the planning, ATC and aircraft tools that are part of the FlyGenX setup.

Build the Operation
Completing trips helps grow Gen X Aviation on JetCard and creates an ongoing virtual charter operation rather than a collection of unrelated flights.
Gen X Aviation + SimFly
Complementary, but independent.
SimFly is the primary platform behind the FlyGenX aircraft and airport network. Gen X Aviation and JetCard are separate from that SimFly activity.
Sometimes the two naturally come together. A Gen X Aviation charter can be flown using a FlyGenX-owned aircraft on SimFly, and the trip may even take me through one of my SimFly airports. Other times, a SimFly flight has nothing to do with JetCard at all.
That flexibility is part of the fun — each platform can stand on its own while also creating opportunities to make an individual flight part of something larger.
A Flight Could Be
A SimFly flight
Fly an owned aircraft, earn through SimFly and participate in the player-owned economy.
A Gen X Aviation charter
Complete a JetCard charter as part of the Gen X Aviation operation.
Or both
Fly a JetCard charter using a FlyGenX-owned SimFly aircraft and combine both experiences in the same flight.

Room to grow.
For now, Gen X Aviation is my own virtual charter operation. In the future, it could grow to include additional pilots on JetCard, Gen X Aviation liveries, shared operations and other resources here on FlyGenX.
There's no recruiting program today — just an aviation operation that has room to evolve as the flying and the community grow.
